Airport Security

Federal investigators decided to test airport security- so they assemble the ingredients to a home-made bomb, from public sources, and bought the items over the counter. They then attempted to bring the materials onto various aircraft. Twenty one airports were the target of this test and, chillingly, all twenty one failed the test. The federal agents were able, every single time, to get the bomb components on board aircraft- even when they "triggered deliberate screenings of the bags".

The Transportation Security Administration needs a swift kick in the seat of the pants.

That's simply not good enough. Heads should roll.
