Kerry Supports Terrorists In Government

John Kerry, failed White House contender, made a trip to Northern Ireland to give a lecture at the University of Ulster on "21st Century Security".

Kerry apparently made issue of the Bush administration pushing the N. Ireland conflict down the foreign policy agenda during the run up to the election- perhaps the US fighting a war wasn't important enough for Kerry. He has angered Unionists here with the following statement-

They (the Democratic Unionist Party) "should not be allowed to disenfranchise half the population of Northern Ireland by refusing to form a government with Sinn Fein".

In other words, Kerry believes that we should allow armed, still active terrorists into government here.

Thanks for the link- and for spreading the story. Haven't seen any mention of that on any of the US blogs.
