As usual CAIR seems to think that the "plight" of the Gazans is all the fault of Israel.
The letter demands “an immediate end to the illegal Israeli blockade in Gaza.” It says “collective punishment is always counterproductive and only serves to block moves toward a just resolution of any conflict.” CAIR says collective punishment — making civilians suffer for the acts of militants — is a war crime.
No mention, I see, of a demand for Hamas to stop firing rockets at civilians- surely an even greater war-crime?
And they seem to be completely oblivious to the obvious- surely they should be demanding that the Gazans Muslim neighbour Egypt open the the border on their side? Gaza was, after all, part of Egypt before the Six Day War. Shouldn't CAIR be complaining about their treatment of fellow Muslims?
