Once again conservatives in America are faced with a dilemma- vote for someone pretending (badly) to be a Republican or stand back and let Obama or Clinton into the Oval Office. Clayton Cramer summarises it best- worrying about what McCain might do as opposed to what we know Clinto/Obama will do.
It's an unpleasant position to be in and Mad Ogre, for one, has come to the conclusion that with McCain at least there's a better chance to defend American's gun rights. And that appears to be about it with McCain too.
