War on Guns reports on the case of an illegal immigrant who shot two young brothers, aged only three and six years old. He had entered the US after being deported to Mexico on his relase from prison-
after spending 15 months of a two year sentence for killing an apartment manager.
Two years for murdering someone? And only serving fifteen months of that sentence? Little wonder that he didn't waste any time in sneaking back into the country after receiving such a ridiculously lenient sentence. Afterall, he had been arrested seven times in the past few years on weapons and gang-related charges. What on earth is there to act as a deterrent to him to not commit any more crimes? If he only gets fifteen months for murdering a man, how long can he expect to do for "merely" wounding two small children?
