An armed gang stormed a flat where a family was giving a dinner party and left everyone traumatised by firing a gun and threatening the family's five-year-old daughter.
The couple and two friends were waiting for other friends to arrive on Saturday night, and the little girl was about to be taken to bed, when the gang of four or five men forced their way into the flat.
The father was marched into another room and pistol-whipped as the men demanded to know what valuables were in the house. The gun went off but no one was hit.
Wonderful- criminals still armed and the law abiding left defenceless. Compare and contrast with this story.
