I'm not a huge car fan, and all I know about the internal combustion engine is that it magically takes me from point A to point B, but even I can see that this is something special- the Maybach Exelero, a Batman-style work of engineering art. Fitted with a V-12 engine it can hit 55mph in 4.4 seconds withthe styling of a Flash Gordon rocket-ship. This is a nice car.
It remains to be seen of this will actually make it onto the road- most likely for the price of a rather luxurious home- as it's a concept car. You know, the amazing, flashy cars that manufacturers design all the time which get people all over the world drooling. And then they release the equivalent of a Ford Focus instead.
Maybe if the designers at the car makers had a bit more influence we'd actually have flying cars right now.
