Soccer Un-Islamic

LGF reports that a Saudi cleric has declared football un-Islamic. I wonder what response this will receive from Scotland's Rangers football team? They did produce replica team shirts available without the beer company sponsor logo for their Muslim supporters. In the light of this fatwa are they now going to do the Islamic thing and put the logo back? After all they should do their bit to encourage the Muslim fans to "indulge in jihad and other constructive activities that could help the Muslim ummah" rather than waste their time with soccer.
