This sounds like it could be interesting. A new spin on the Robin Hood story is being proposed for a new movie. Called Nottingham, the project will see Russell Crowe play a sympathetic version of the Sheriff- he'll be more of a "good guy" investigating crimes while Robin's bad points will be a little more obvious. It's one of those ideas that could either turn out really well or be a complete flop.
In any event, it will be better than the appalling BBC series that was recently broadcast.
