On the one hand we have this news-
Colombia’s police chief, Gen. Oscar Naranjo, said documents recovered from a slain rebel leader’s computer indicate Chavez recently sent $300 million to Colombian guerrillas.
The guerillas are, in non-MSM talk, terrorists FARC. And then we have this news-
"House Republicans criticized energy legislation passed late Wednesday, saying that it would raise taxes on the oil industry but give tax breaks to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and the state-run oil company CITGO."
Yep, Democrats are willing to give Chavez a tax-break and an advantage over domestic oil companies at a time when foreign oil is a matter of national security. A man who is quite likely the most anti-American despot in the Southern Hemisphere and who now, it seems, also funds mass murdering terrorists.
